1. Purchase & Refund Policy

By making a payment on AutoVIN Hub, you agree to the following refund and cancellation terms:

• Credit Purchases: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Refunds are only issued in the rare instance that purchased credits are not successfully delivered to your account balance.
• Report Purchases: All individual report purchases are final. Refunds or report regenerations are only provided if the report fails to generate due to a system error.
• Service Continuity: In the unlikely event that the service becomes permanently unavailable, no refunds will be issued for previously purchased credits.
• Account Termination: If an account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms of Service, all remaining credits are immediately forfeited, and no refunds will be provided.
• Expiration: Credits expire one year from the date of purchase. You may extend this expiration date by making an additional purchase before the current credits expire.

2. Pricing & Payments

• Pricing Validity: Prices listed in our pricing table are valid only for the current transaction. Future deposits are subject to the pricing plans available at that time.
• Bulk Discounts: To qualify for reduced pricing tiers, the full deposit amount listed must be paid in a single transaction.
• Currency: All charges are processed in USD. AutoVIN Hub is not responsible for foreign currency conversion fees or exchange rate fluctuations applied by your financial institution.

3. Service Guarantees & Limitations

We strive for maximum uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 service availability.

• Maintenance: Temporary outages may occur for scheduled API server updates. These typically occur every few months and may last several hours.
• Data Accuracy: All reports are sourced from official U.S. data providers. While we guarantee the authenticity of the source, we do not guarantee the accuracy of the "number of records" preview displayed prior to purchase.
• Canadian Vehicles: We support Canadian VINs; however, be aware that report formatting and data presentation will strictly follow U.S. standards.
• VPN Requirement: If you are accessing reports from outside North America, you may be required to use a VPN to ensure proper report display and functionality.
• Window Stickers: Window stickers provided by vendors rely on temporary security sessions. Please download these immediately, as links may expire within hours or days.
• Report Storage: Successfully generated reports are stored long-term and remain accessible via the "Transactions" tab in your account.

4. API Usage & Fair Use

• API Limits: API users are subject to limits on free VIN record checks to prevent abuse. The ratio of Purchased Reports to Free Checks must not exceed 1:15.
• Overage Charges: Exceeding this 1:15 ratio is considered misuse of the service and will result in a 1-credit charge automatically applied to your API balance.
• Non-API Users: Standard users are not charged for free checks, but accounts suspected of automated scraping or misuse may be flagged or suspended.

5. Disputes & Fraud

We take payment integrity seriously.

• Suspension: Any payment dispute (chargeback) or suspected fraudulent activity will result in the permanent suspension of the associated email address, IP address, and payment method across AutoVIN Hub and its affiliated networks.
• Resolution: Disputes should not be used as a substitute for customer support. Please contact us directly before initiating a dispute; most issues can be resolved immediately.
• Penalty Fee: If a payment dispute is initiated without first contacting our support team, a $20 administrative processing fee will be invoiced to the account. This fee is waived if you attempt to resolve the issue with support first.

6. Trademarks & Copyright

• Fair Use: AutoVIN Hub may use third-party trademarks, logos, or brand names for commentary, identification, and research purposes under applicable fair use laws.
• Non-Affiliation: AutoVIN Hub is an independent service and is not affiliated with Carfax, AutoCheck, or any other third-party trademark owners mentioned on the site. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
